We collect your mobile phone number when you are enrolled in our SMS alert service by your waste hauling provider. We may also collect your name as provided by your service provider.
Your phone number is used solely to send you SMS text message alerts related to your trash and recycling pickup schedule, including delay notices, cancellations, rescheduling updates, and service reminders. We do not use your information for marketing purposes.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to deliver SMS messages through our telecommunications provider (Twilio). Twilio's privacy policy is available at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
Message frequency varies based on service disruptions and route updates. You will only receive messages when there is relevant information about your pickup schedule.
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To re-subscribe, reply START.
Your phone number is retained for as long as you are an active customer of your waste hauling service provider. Upon request, your information can be removed from our system.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
