RouteAlert is an SMS notification service used by waste hauling and trash collection companies to notify customers of schedule changes, delays, cancellations, and reminders related to their trash and recycling pickup.
You are enrolled in this service by your waste hauling service provider. By providing your phone number to your service provider, you consent to receive SMS text messages from RouteAlert on their behalf.
Message frequency varies. You will receive messages only when there are updates relevant to your pickup route.
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. RouteAlert is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier.
You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To re-subscribe at any time, reply START.
For help, reply HELP to any message or contact your waste hauling service provider directly.
SMS messages are supported by all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others.
RouteAlert provides notifications on a best-effort basis. We are not liable for missed messages, delayed delivery, or service interruptions caused by carrier outages or technical failures.
